Our College library is a rich resort of knowledge treasure.In order to promote reading, the college organizes various festivals, displays and activities from time to time.

These include reading hour sessions, interaction with authors, author birthday celebrations, literary events, quizzes, summer and winter reading challenges.

Well qualified librarian assists Student-Teachers with skill developments.In order to attract young readers, the library space has been upgraded to create a better learning ambience and provide adequate space with good accessibility.

All Student-Teacher and faculty of the College are members of the college library can borrow books against their College ID Card.The library is fully automated and the transactions are made only through the computers. Online public access catalogue is available. Internet facility is available in the library and the students have easy access to it. Circulation service is offered daily from 9.15 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

The collection includes books, newspapers, magazines, Kindles, desktop computers, reference materials, CDs and DVDs. HCCS’ well-stocked library houses over 7890 volumes of books, comprising references, prescribed texts and popular fiction.

The college subscribes regional newspapers and 10 national, international and regional magazines. The library is equipped with a computerized database, enabling students and faculty to have quick and easy access to necessary books.
