Holy Cross College (Autonomous) Tiruchirappalli offers various courses except B.Ed. A need for B.Ed. was created as there were not many B.Ed. Colleges in and around Tiruchirappalli. A felt need was created by the public to begin a B.Ed. course in the same campus. So the same management started the B.Ed. course in the year 2008.
Students who wish to enter the teaching profession can pursue their B.Ed. after completing their U.G and P.G Courses in the same campus. The same management runs many schools so it is an added advantage for the B.Ed. students to carry out their teaching practice and get excellent training to be an efficient and effective Student-Teacher.Beyond curriculum we also ensure holistic development of the Student-Teachers to mould them to be an accomplished human being. Conducive atmosphere at our college prepare the Student-Teachers to face the challenges in the 21st century and make them creators.
